Bed & Breakfast Monte Solaro is situated in Anacapri, the highest part of the island of Capri, and just five minutes away from the center of the town.
The bed & breakfast is located on the slopes of Monte Solaro, the mountain after which the property takes its name. Nestled amongst the native pine, broom and myrtle trees, Bed & Breakfast Monte Solaro boasts a magnificent terrace from where to admire panoramic views of the historic center of Anacapri and the Bay of Naples. Here the only sound to break the silence is the sweet sound of nature.

From Piazza Vittoria, the principal tourist center of Anacapri, guests proceed along the main road for approximately 100 meters until they come to the bus station where buses for the Blue Grotto and the Punta Carena lighthouse depart. From here a narrow lane leads up the slopes of Monte Solaro to the Bed & Breakfast.

The historic center of Anacapri, with its picturesque little lanes and shops, is just a five minute walk from Bed & Breakfast Monte Solaro. The legendary Piazzetta of Capri is a mere 15 minute bus ride away. A bus stop is located 2 minutes away from the Bed & Breakfast and services are frequent. The beaches of Lido del Faro, Marina Piccola, Marina Grande, and Bagni Tiberio can also be reached by bus. The journey to each of the various bathing establishments takes from 10 to 20 minutes.

In the immediate vicinity of the Bed & Breakfast lies the pedestrianized thoroughfare of Via Capodimonte, lined with characteristic shops selling local craft and gastronomic products. Not to be missed, a visit to Villa San Michele; one time residence of the eminent Swedish physician and writer Axel Munthe, and now a fascinating museum. Continuing upwards along the lane which leads to the bed & Breakfast visitors reach the Belvedere Migliera; one of the most attractive view points on the island, and the Parco Filosofico; a botanical garden characterised by pathways featuring slabs of majolica on which quotations of some of the most important philosophers in history have been inscribed.
